It’s called BELONG and it lands in your inbox twice a month. Click on the banner to see the first issue, which includes Amy’s farewell message as she leaves us to join the Berks County Public Libraries.

We chose the name BELONG because of its multiple meanings:

  • In the simplest sense, you ‘belong to the library’ when you get a card, and we’d love for everyone to belong to their local library and reap the benefits of all the free resources that are available.
  • We belong to you and the entire community, including the areas we serve: Emmaus and Macungie Boroughs, and Upper Milford Township. We are funded by your tax dollars, and all of the items in the library belong to everyone in the community.
  • We want you and everyone to feel like you belong here. There’s something at EPL for everybody — from great events to free internet access to thousands of items to borrow — all in a welcoming environment. We may not always be the quietest library, especially during construction :-), but we strive to be the friendliest and most helpful.
