Please consider how valuable the Library is to you and your family. Since 1940, we have provided library materials, services, and events FREE of charge. We continue to look for new ways to provide assistance to the communities and patrons we serve, despite recent decreases in state, borough, and township funding. Your important - and greatly appreciated - donation will help with operating expenses, adding materials to the collections, and providing dynamic and engaging events for all ages.

The Emmaus Public Library is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, therefore all donations are tax-deductible. Click Here for a copy of our Annual Fund Letter or use the PayPal link below. The library can send you a letter of receipt for tax purposes to the return address provided with your payment.

Welcome to the Emmaus Public Library

Welcome to the Emmaus Public Library. The library is part of the Access Pennsylvania program and serves residents of the East Penn area (Emmaus Borough, Macungie Borough, and Upper Milford Township). Patrons from other areas holding a valid home library card and photo ID are also eligible for borrowing and reference services.

You must have your library card to borrow or renew materials. (If you forget your library card, there is a $1.00 charge to check out materials with the presentation of valid picture ID). Your library card is a permanent card; keep it always. Your information and the card will be updated periodically at the library. The replacement fee for a lost card is $2.00. As a cardholder, you have agreed to be responsible for all items borrowed and charges incurred.
