SUMMER READING CLOSING PROGRAM: BIRDS IN FLIGHT!
Saturday, August 20th @ 2PM
Animal Behavior & Conservation Connections will present an interactive “free flight” show on the lawn featuring owls and birds of all kinds. These animals will fly free & interact with audience members during this intro to conservation. Program sponsored by The Emmaus Lioness Lions Club, the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library, and a generous EPL Patron! No registration required.

COMMUNITY HEROES DAY
Thursday, September 8th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
A chance for children of all ages to get to know local emergency responders from Emmaus, Upper Milford, and surrounding areas in a casual, non-emergency environment. Children (and adults) can explore fire trucks and other vehicles in the library parking lot, and talk to the folks who protect. Start the evening at Emmaus Remembrance Garden for the 5:00 pm dedication of the new Community Heroes walkway.
FALL BOOK DISCUSSION
This year’s theme is “Art and Artists in Literature.” Signups begin September 6th for one or all sessions. Some books available for free, others $10. Sessions are the second Tuesday of the month, October through May, starting October 11th. 7-9 PM.
