The private-funding thermometer rose by $10,172 in February, bringing the two-month total to $24,769, or 18.2 percent of the goal.
The biggest component was a $5K donation from the Friends of EPL, in addition to nearly $700 in Book Nook sales last month. Thank you Friends — you are the best!
Tee Time proceeds contributed another $3K, with general gifts adding $730. Finally, $525 in cash receipts for printing/copying, room rentals, damaged items, etc., rounded out the total.
Mark your calendar for the big Friends of EPL Used Book Sale coming up April 19 & 20. It’s a great way to support the library while picking up some great books, DVDs and puzzles at bargain prices!
This year’s book sale will be held at the library — which will be open for regular business on those days as well.
