We can all use a little laugh! That’s the theme for this series of Evening Book Club picks (February through May).

Join us May 14 at 6:45 p.m. in the Margaret Knoll Gardner Lecture Room  for a lively discussion of You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey: Crazy Stories About Racism by Amber Ruffin and Lacey Lamar.

Nonfiction. Amber Ruffin writes with her sister, Lacey Lamar, with humor and heart to share absurd anecdotes about everyday experiences of racism. “Featuring the authors’ razor-sharp wit and limitless brilliance, these true tales of injustice are a gift to readers.” — Booklist starred review

Copies can be borrowed on interlibrary loan or purchased from one of Emmaus’ independent bookstores.

*RSVP: Email eplcollection@cliu.org or call 610-965-9284 to sign up.

The evening book group takes a summer break after the May meeting. Sign-ups begin in early September for the first fall meeting in October.
