With preparation getting under way for a major renovation of the library’s workroom, we need to put book donations on hold until further notice, as space will be in drastically short supply.
We do, however, still accept new (2023-2024) hardcover books year round, and the Friends’ Book Nook will continue to be refreshed weekly from their back stock.
If you have older books, the Allentown Recycling Drop-Off Center is open 24 hours to everyone, and accepts books and magazines. It’s located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr Drive next to the 15th St. bridge. You may also try contacting other local libraries, used book stores, or thrift shops. Please do not leave book donations outside our library entrance or in the book drops!
