Private-funding results are in for the first month of the new year. Let’s take a look…
The 2023 target is $119,837. This figure is based on the projected gap between the budget and the funding provided by state and local municipalities (see the 2022 year-end summary for more info).
In January, private funding totaled $10,335. The largest components were Tee Time sponsorships ($3K) and contributions to the annual fund (also nearly $3K).
The library also received a $2K IronPigs Charities Community Grant to support Let’s Move in the Library – Jr. Edition. Thank you IronPigs Charities! The funds will be used to hold yoga and movement classes for youth patrons later this year.
The remaining private funds came from sales in the Friends’ Book Nook, along with cash receipts for printing, lost/damaged items, etc.
Three great, fun ways to support the library are coming up soon:
▪ | Tee Time: March 24 & 25. Get info and tickets here, or stop at the desk. |
▪ | Friends of EPL jewelry fundraiser during March. |
▪ | Friends’ Annual Spring Used Book Sale: April 21 & 22 (see below). |
Check back next month for February results. Thank you!
