I am 72 years old. I started my painting practice in 1982
with the sculptor and painter, Antonio Salemme (1892-1995). I was very
fortunate to have met him, and it is his example as an artist
that has been my inspiration to this day!

I do landscape, portraits and still life compositions in oils,
watercolors and various drawing mediums,
including drypoint engravings.

I practice the aesthetics of spontaneity. What I strive for
and value in a work of art is a balance of brush, color, motif,
and artistic personality. This is not primarily an intellectual process,
but an intuitive and soulful expression.
