If you have toddlers, friends or neighbors with toddlers, or if you missed out on the parent-child workshops in the summer — mark your calendar for the next series starting January 31.

The five weekly meetups will run Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and are interactive, informal, and play-based. Families will have a chance to spend time together, make new friends, and connect with a different community resource professional each week on topics such as health, early literacy, child development and more:

Melissa Vandever (Feb. 7)
Child Development Specialist
Easterseals of Eastern PA

Heather Kistler, RD, CSP, LDN (Feb. 21)
Pediatric & Neonatal Clinical Dietitian
Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, Allentown

Jodi Merrill, LMFT (Feb. 28)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, director
Pathways for Change Children’s Counseling Center, Emmaus

Youth Services Librarian, Miss Sue, will round out the lineup,
with early literacy on Jan. 31, and Music and Movement on Feb. 14.

We also have loads of new toys, books and resources available to help families make the most of this important phase in their child’s life that shapes socialization, literacy, and future development.

Sessions are geared to toddlers (ages 1-3), but siblings under age 6 may also attend. Parents/caretakers are encouraged to attend the entire series, but can attend individual sessions.

Space is limited, so sign up now at the front desk, call 610-965-9284, or email emmauspl@cliu.org (please include the number of parents or caregivers and the names and ages of children attending).

We’re truly proud and excited to be a ‘Family Place Library’ that provides parents and caretakers with information, resources and community to help their little ones thrive.
