The private-funding thermometer rose by $6,239 in March, bringing the total for the first quarter of 2022 to $15,415, or 13.4 percent of the goal.
Sponsorships for Tee Time at the Library, which takes place next weekend (April 29 & 30), continued to account for a large portion of private funding last month, while general donations — which included a Facebook birthday fundraiser, among others — added nearly $3K last month.
Sales in the Book Nook contributed nearly $700 as the Friends get set for their biggest event of the year this weekend, the 22nd Annual Spring Used Book Sale (April 22 & 23). Shop among fellow book lovers both days and pick up great deals on high-quality books, puzzles, media and more!
Finally, cash receipts from copies/printing, lost or damaged items, and the donation box added roughly $400 to private funding last month.
April is a great time to get out and enjoy time with friends and neighbors. Come be part of the upcoming special events to show support for the library, the Friends, and Tee Time sponsors, and check back here again next month for the April results.
