If you’ve been relying on eBooks during quarantine and missing the feel of a real book in your hands, we’re happy to say we’ve got loads of new ones headed your way!

Now that we’re back in the library, it’s been Christmas in June as we unpack box after box that arrived during closure, and our technical services librarian, Mary, has been busy adding them to our catalog. She has a ways to go, but we can at least show you the first batch of 101, which includes 55 new novels just in time for summer reading.

It will be a few more days until these are fully processed — with barcodes, call-number labels, protective coverings and such — but the good news is that you can reserve them now for when they become available (or get on the waiting list for the most popular ones).

Go here to view/download the entire list, then click on a cover image for details and reserve items from your account online for easy curbside pick-up during our ‘Yellow’ reopening phase.

For the latest in eBooks and eAudiobooks, visit OverDrive/Libby.* You’ll find 31 new items there since our last update two weeks ago, plus another 18,000 items to enjoy with your card (and four-digit PIN). If you need help with your PIN or getting started with OverDrive/Libby, email Lauri at eplcollection@cliu.org or call 610-965-9284 x210.

*If you haven’t read about the recent changes in OverDrive regarding your options for retrieving your digital holds when they become available, be sure to check them out here.
