We interrupt our regular programming to bring you a public service announcement: Oct. 1 is the last day to suggest a purchase to be added to the library’s collection for the remainder of this year. Requests received after that date will be held until 2021. That means if you have your eyes on a particular book or DVD due for release in the next few months, you’ll want to complete this online form or ask for a paper form at the library so our librarians can plan out their purchases and budget for the rest of 2020. Thank you. We now return to our regular programming…

Please don’t hate us for adding to your daunting ‘To Be Read’ pile — a topic of discussion on our Facebook page this week — but we do have a bunch of great new books (and DVDs) vying for a spot on your nightstand or shelf. No James Patterson again … but loads of other fan favorites, as well as new authors, in our latest additions … with J.P.  sure to rejoin the list soon with several upcoming releases.

Go here to view/download the entire list, then click on any cover image for details and to reserve items from your account online for curbside pick-up.

Another 125 eBooks and eAudiobooks have been added to OverDrive/Libby — bringing the digital library to nearly 18,500 items to enjoy with your card (and four-digit PIN). Among the latest additions (and overall collection), are loads and loads of books for children and teens.
