Well! Spring has certainly sprung early around here. Our stacks are bursting with new goodies of every kind for every age — books, DVDs, audio books, puzzles, and more. We’ve just added more than 150 items, in fact.

Does James Patterson spring a new book on the world every two weeks? It sure seems that way. We have his latest, The Cornwalls Are Gone.

We also have favorites like Clive Cussler, Catherine Coulter, Michael Connelly, Fern Michaels, Stuart Woods, Carla Neggers and Dave Eggers. It is ‘egg’ season, after all.

Maybe not quite as world famous, but a rock star to all of us at EPL, our own Miss Sue (Kling Monroe) has a short story published in Rewriting the Past, the 2019 anthology of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group! How cool is that? It’s called Alexander’s History and it’s wonderful. So are the stories by other local writers, so be sure to add it to your reading list.

Then there are hard-to-beat titles like Eat Cake. Be Brave, Save Me from Dangerous Men, and perhaps the saddest title ever: If Cats Disappeared from the World.

We also have a slew of books for young readers, including a trainload of new books about trains of every kind, plus lots of new Avengers and Star Wars books.

New selections for young adults include The Edge of Everything by Jeff Giles, and We Are Displaced: My Journey and Stories from Refugee Girls Around the World, by Malala Yousafzai (author of I Am Malala).

There’s so much more, including seven new jigsaw puzzles to borrow and more ‘Great Courses,’ but hey, we’ve got lots of reading to do, so view or download the whole list here and stop in to check them out for yourself.
