As Lehigh County gets set to ‘Go Yellow’ on June 5, we’re looking forward to getting back to the library after all these weeks away.

Following a ‘prep period’ of accepting returned items, processing new items, and making modifications to ensure safety for all, we expect to begin offering curbside pick-up on Monday, June 15.

You’ll be able to request materials online with your library account, by email, or by phone for pick up at the library. Staff will bring items out to your car, since the building will still remain closed to patrons until further notice.

If you have materials to return, they will not be due right away when we go yellow, so you’ll have time to get your items back before they start to incur fines. Also, if your library card is due to expire soon, we’ll help you renew it to ensure continued access within our policies.

During the Yellow phase, we’ll be holding some events outdoors and continue to host others online until we can safely gather indoors again.

As we have more details we’ll share them here, on our website, and on social media, so stay tuned as we go from Red to Yellow…and eventually to Green!
