Do you want to get out of the house? The Emmaus Public Library will have a sidewalk full of activities and questions based on animal themes! This self-paced activity will start at the stop sign by the library, and continue along the Ridge Street sidewalk to The Emmaus Point (Ridge St, Main St,and Emmaus Ave). Masks and Social distancing are required, but those work with this outside, and at your own pace event!

Barbara Greco, classically trained artist of Bethlehem, will conduct a workshop to guide students through the basics of portrait drawing using charcoal and chalk. The workshop will be held on the back lawn of the library near the riparian buffer zone. A collection of her works will be available for viewing in the library. Free and open to the public. Are you looking for support and community in your creative journey? We invite you to join us whether you desire to knit scarves, compose opera, paint portraits, or throw clay. Bring a project to actively work on for 15-20 minutes during our meeting time. (Please refrain from sharp tools or any works needing solvents/cleanup.) * Child Passenger Seat Ed...Child Passenger Seat Ed...

Tracy Fox Traffic Safety Coordinator for the Highway Safety Network presents a Child Passenger Seat Education Class. This is a 1 hour class for new parents, not-new parents and grandparents. It covers car seats- the law, infant, forward facing and booster seats, do’s and don’ts. Includes a demo of a car seat by going over all the parts of the seats. Parents are encouraged to ask questions. Misuse of car seats is a big issue and that can range from having a child in a wrong seat to a seat that is not installed properly. The presenter does not check people's car seats for this event. We will be meeting on the library's back lawn near the riparian buffer zone.
