The library offers notary services, free of charge, by appointment only for the residents of our community (Emmaus, Macungie borough, Upper Milford township) with the following guidelines:
Please call the library at 610-965-9284 to make an appointment, indicating the type of notarization requested.
The person requesting notarization must personally appear before the Notary at the time of the notarization.
Valid photo identification is required, such as driver’s license, government issued non-driver ID card, passport or other form of government identification providing it is current and contains a signature or a photograph.
Documents that contain blank spaces should be filled out by the signer prior to notarization. An original signature of the person requesting the notarization is required. Only documents in English can be notarized at this time.
If a witness is needed, the witness must be known by the person requesting notarization and provide a valid photo identification as listed above. The library will not provide witnesses and witnesses may not be solicited from the library patrons or staff.
The Notary cannot notarize certain documents including but not limited to the following:
● Real Estate transactions
● Depositions
● Deeds
● Trusts & Wills
● Copy Certifications of any records prohibited by law to copy or certify, or that states it cannot be copied (birth, death, marriage certificates).

Join us for a free screening of The Whale (2022, R, 1h57m). A reclusive, morbidly obese English teacher attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter. This film received 113 award nominations and won 42, including Oscars for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Brendan Fraser and Best Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling for Judy Chin, Adrien Morot, and Annemaire Bradley-Sherron. Please note this film may contain materials not suitable for all audiences, use the rating as a guideline.

A representative from Congresswoman Susan Wild's office will be available for mobile office hours each second Tuesday from 2 to 5 PM to answer questions, address concerns, and provide other constituent services. Constituent Services include agency services and contacts, tour and ticket information, grant application assistance, flags, disaster relief assistance, and more.
