So you want to read library books on your Kindle but don’t know how … or you’re not sure how to apply for a job online … or don’t have time to dig through a thousand websites to find the information you need? Help is on the way.

This fall, we’re excited to offer a new service called Book-a-Librarian, every Thursday between 10 and 11 a.m. While we’re always ready to help you when the library is open, this service gives you more in-depth, one-on-one assistance focused on just what you need. Best of all, it doesn’t cost you a cent.

Just email me at eplcollection@cliu.org or call 610-965-9284 x210 to reserve your 30-minute spot and let me know what you need help with.

You can use your half hour for almost anything information related — from learning to use a new device … to setting up a web-based email account … to downloading books, audiobooks and magazines … and more.

Maybe you’ve dreamed of starting a business, going back to school, or learning a new language, but don’t know where to start. I’ll help you get over the hump.

Perhaps you’re having trouble searching the library’s new catalog, placing books on hold, or just want suggestions on what to get that friend who loves science fiction. No problem.

We’ll work at your speed and level, and find the right resources to help you cut to the chase so you can have more time for your life.

Can’t make it in on Thursday mornings? You can still email or call me with your request and I’ll try to help you over email or at another time.
