NEW ‘LOOKBACK RULE’

Did you earn less in 2020 than 2019? You could qualify for a bigger tax refund through the Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2020. Visit the IRS website for more information.

Visit the myPATH PA Tax Hub: File the PA-40 personal income tax online for free, apply for property tax/rent rebates, make payments, and more.

Visit the District Office for Forms or Assistance: Due to COVID-19, the district office in Allentown is operating in a limited capacity, and appointments are required for in-person assistance. Taxpayer assistance hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Appointments between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. are reserved for senior citizens. Taxpayers are required to wear a mask during appointments. The local district office is located at:

AARP ASSISTANCE

Due to COVID-19, AARP is not accepting new clients this year, but if you had AARP help last year through Emmaus Moravian Church, an AARP volunteer will contact you to make arrangements to collect your paperwork if you’d like help again this year.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES

  • The library has a limited number of forms and instruction booklets available just inside the entrance and also on our curbside table. Feel free to stop by and pick up what you need for personal use. You may also use the library’s PCs to download or print forms, or ask library staff for assistance with printing forms. Printing is .20 per page for black and white, and .50 per page for color.
