The Emmaus Public Library has a number of programs and events just for children and young adults available throughout the year. All of these are publicized in the local newspapers, Facebook, and East Penn schools as appropriate –most are Drop In. Also, check out our Calendar page for more specific events, dates, and times.

Story Times are held for all ages during the year and run in 8 week sessions. Come to the library for brochures with current and upcoming events. More information is also available via Facebook.
Literary Lunch is a read-and-discuss program for upper elementary, middle school, and high school students. These programs do require pre-registration. The first 10 to sign up receive a free copy provided by Friends of the Emmaus Public Library to be read and discussed. Participants should pack a brown bag lunch, the beverage and dessert will be provided by the library. Watch for announcements in local newspapers, on Facebook, this website, and at the library.
Special programs like Story Time for readers of all ages are held at the library. Family Game Nights, Saturday Fun Family Films, and Block Parties are some of the monthly events open to everyone. Some events are sponsored by the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library, The Ladies Auxiliary Club, the Rotary Club, and others. Events are announced at the library via flyers, in local newspapers, Facebook, and on this website. teachers in the East Penn School District are welcome to reach out to Miss Sue at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about school visits, library tours, and other outreach programs.
