Tales from the Odyssey (part one) by Mary Pope Osborne is our choice for August. This non-fiction title is packed with legends from Greek mythology! Literary Lunch JR is for kids entering 4th and 5th grade in the 2018-2018 school year, but 5th graders moving up to 6th can join in too (last chance before heading to the Literary Lunch group!). Bring a packed lunch, and the library will provide drinks and dessert! Registration required - sign up at the circulation desk. First ten kids to sign up get a free copy of the book!

The Wilder Boys live in the city, and have been taking care of themselves for a long time - since their dad left, and their mom fell ill. Then one night they find out a dangerous secret, and are forced to go on the run to search for their father in the wilderness of Wyoming. Literary Lunch is a book discussion group for teens in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Bring a packed lunch, and the library provides drinks and dessert. Registration is required.
