Every
spring, the Friends sponsors a Book Sale that benefits the library's Endowment
Fund.
Thank
you for your support of the 2008 sale. Donations for the 2009 sale will be
accepted after July 1, 2008. Watch this spot for the dates of the 2009
sale.
This sale is so immense that it
is held in the cafeteria of the Lower Macungie Middle School (and is held in
conjunction with a Nutrition Fair on Saturday).
Volunteers
are needed to set up and clean up after the sale. To volunteer in any capacity, or for more information, please call
Jeannette Lehman at 610-965-2868. Persons who are
not yet Friends are welcome to participate.
If you are interested in joining the
Friends group (you need not be a member of the Emmaus Library, nor
reside in its service area), you will find brochures at the library's
circulation desk. Or click on the Friends page on this website and print
out an application - bring or mail it to the library.
There may be
other smaller book sales during the year. Watch for the announcement of coming
sales in the local newspapers, or check out this website.
