Upper Milford patrons got an early ‘present’ last week with the addition of a book drop outside the township building. Now area patrons can save a trip to Emmaus by returning their library items there, where they will be picked up once a week. No extra fines will accrue between pickups.

The news of the book drop got quite a few cheers (who knew?)…and our Pinterest parties, growing DVD collection and new children’s wing (among other things) were all pretty popular this year…which prompts us to ask:

What do you want to see from us next year?

Do you want more events? If so, what kind — local authors? Crafts? Music? Oreo parties?

What do you want to see in the collection next year? More audiobooks? Biographies? Foreign language choices?

Would you like a weekly or monthly list of new books in your inbox? Faster interlibrary loans? More computers?

A drone that drops off books in your driveway???

We’re all ears as we get set to enter 2019. Leave us a comment below or email us your wish list.

We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to deliver on everything (sorry, not quite there yet on the drone), but we’ll consider all of your suggestions and do our best to serve you even better in 2019!

[Update: Wish granted! We have a new coat rack in the children’s wing now, near the storytime area (click photo to enlarge). We’re still working on additional seating, which requires more funds. Thanks for your suggestions!]
