Hmm, what came first … the Half-Blood Prince or the Order of the Phoenix? When you finish a great book and want to figure out what comes next, not every author makes it as easy as Sue Grafton did with her Kinsey Milhone ‘alphabet’ series (‘A is for Alibi,’ ‘B is for Burglar’).
Luckily, you can find the answer right off of our homepage. Just scroll down to the ‘Quick Links’ box along the left-hand side and click on ‘Books in Series’ to access the great database at the Nebraska Library Commission.
You can search by author, book title, or series name. So, enter ‘Harry Potter’ and shazam … the Order of the Phoenix came first.
The website also has a link to several other ‘books in series’ databases, including Fantastic Fiction — with the bibliographies of 40,000 authors — and sites for finding juvenile series and young-adult series.
